Release time:2024年12月09日 | View volume:159

In our daily lives, television has always been a necessity. With the development of time and technology, the variety of television products has also increased. In order to provide consumers with a better viewing experience, there are currently many TV products on the market that focus on 4K technology. So what is a 4K TV? What are its advantages? How should we choose? This article will provide a brief introduction for everyone!
1、 What is a 4K TV
4K is an international standard for display technology, and for televisions, the screen resolution must reach 3840 × 2160. The clarity of 4K is exactly four times that of traditional 1080p full HD, so it is also known as ultra high definition or UHD. Although 4K only specifies the clarity of the screen, a TV with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 is clearly not enough. In order to ensure true 4K ultra high definition visual enjoyment, the video content displayed on the screen must also reach the level of ultra high definition.
2、 4K TV selection criteria
1. Equipped with professional grade UHD ultra high definition display screen
4K ultra high definition TVs must be equipped with professional grade UHD ultra high definition displays with a physical resolution of 3840 * 2160 (4K * 2K) and a pixel count of 8.2944 million. The 4K pixels on its display screen are tightly arranged and evenly distributed, resulting in clearer images and stronger on-site realism.
2. A quad core or higher processor with built-in 4K decoding chip, equipped with Android 4.2 or higher operating system. 4K ultra high definition TVs must have a quad core or higher processor with built-in 4K decoding chip. Due to the multiple improvements in image quality of 4K sources, higher processor requirements are required, and quad core processors have powerful TV computing cores, control centers, and graphics processing capabilities.
3. Mature 2K to 4K image quality improvement technology applied
4K ultra high definition TVs must apply mature 2K to 4K image quality improvement technologies, such as 2K to 4K associated compensation technology. This technology is currently the most mature 2K to 4K technology in the industry, with FHD signal data upgraded to true UHD level and image realism reaching over 90%, far exceeding the 70% improvement achieved by a single compensation, completely solving the core problem of the current shortage of 4K film sources.
4. High speed transmission port with USB 3.0, HDMI 1.4 and above versions
4K ultra high definition TVs must have high-speed transmission ports of USB 3.0, HDMI 1.4 or higher versions. The amount of 4K source information is very large (the uncompressed version in 18 minutes is 3.5TB, with an average of 194GB per minute), and currently only USB 3.0 high-speed transmission interface and HDMI 1.4 or above high-speed ports can quickly transmit 4K information sources.
